Yahoo! We are getting ready for our second fundraiser to support Angels in Fur and all the good work they accomplish. Last year, we had a very successful first fundraiser, a great host, "Ross Matthews", terrific raffles (including a MacPro Laptop), and great food. Make sure and mark your calendar, Oct 2. 2010 at Siren Studios in Hollywood. It's going to be another FABULOUS time. * We are still looking for corporate sponsors, we have some great offers to our corporate friends. Hair cuts, massage, pilates classes, dog training, all make wonderful items to raise money. * Do you own a pet store or restaurant, cleaners? Our Little Scarlet found a GREAT Home
Scarlet was our little brindle pup that came to AIF from the West Valley Shelter....The shelter thought she was untrainable and not adoptable. We took a chance on this cutie. A wonderful couple in Woodland Hills, also decided to take a chance and bring Scarlet into their pack. Scarlett is the little brindle up front, Gus, the brown boxer mix, plus Bindi (the other brindle pit mix and leader) all worked hard to get to this beautiful place. Julie Iles from Lockwood Training, was sent in to bring peace to the household. Between Julie and this wonderful couple that never gave up on Scarlet, everyone can rest now and relax.
Check out our little Penelope....
Penolope is a 2 year old sweetie. She was hit by a car and taken to the vet by a good samaritan. Her owner was found but she would not pay the bill. AIF was contacted and we took her in. She is in a foster home with all adults and a small doxy mix. She has recovered from her broken pelvis and hip. This is what makes her "Special Needs"....
